Quenching and washing tanks
Quenching tanks are designed to quench the products with a controlled heating or cooling of quench liquid. Washing tanks are used to wash the products by a preheated liquid. Quenching tanks use an oil and a water as a quench liquid. Working chamber of a tank is made of stainless steel. Working liquid is heated by tubular heating elements mounted on opposing sides of tank's internal surface. Liquid cooling coil pipes are mounted on two other sides straight across the heaters. Working liquid is mixed by compressed air bubbling. Temperature of working liquid is regulated by control system based on advanced MBU series controller (made by MIUS). |
